Planning a Garden Together
Sat 20 Jan, 10am - 3pm, No.11 Gordon Street
A workshop on planning your growing space
Our first workshop of 2018 is all about planning for the growing season ahead. It doesn't matter if you have a whole allotment or just a metre squared, creating a growing plan can help you make the most of the space you do have.
Leading the workshop will be permaculturalist James Reid and architect Camille Sineau, who will help you to assess your space and draw a plan. The workshop will cover the five permaculture design zones, crop rotation and companion planting, placement of gardens and compost areas, and ideas for saving space through design. The focus will be on exploring garden spaces through drawing.
This is also an opportunity for you to find out about the Town is the Garden plans for the coming year.
