Katie Rose Johnston, a Glasgow-based artist and potter, originally from Huntly, worked with residents to design and make a crockery set for the community. The set is a communal resource anyone can borrow for dinners, meetings, coffee mornings, picnics or weddings.
Made in collaboration with the community through pottery workshops, the set researched and re-established the values and identity of the town.
The set is dishwasher proof and comprises 100 cups and 100 plates. The cups can be used for hot or cold drinks. The plates for cakes, snacks or full meals.
